Excellent staff, amazing facilities with a new pool. Delicious food, must try the Spanish omelette. Incredible wildlife on the hotel trails - monkeys, sloths, toucans, Macaws. Beer while enjoying the scenery or walking the 3km trails. Vibrant night trails with frogs. Regretfully, only stayed 2 nights

Beautiful gardens filled with birds and butterflies, and even monkeys and sloths! Comfortable cabins arranged in a circle around the gardens, with a river and jungle at the back.- Excellent breakfast served overlooking bird tables, perfect for leisurely mornings.- Convenient location just 3 km from Selva Park, a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts.- Friendly and helpful staff who genuinely enjoy working at the lodge.
No fridge in the cabins, which may be inconvenient for some guests. Lack of air conditioning, although it wasn't necessary due to the pleasant climate.

I recently stayed at a lodge in Sarapiqui for birdwatching and found it to be the perfect location to see a variety of species. The lodge had its own paths through the surrounding jungle, where we encountered monkeys and even spotted a sloth. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast served on the patio was delicious. The gardens were beautiful, filled with birds and butterflies, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.
I can recommend this hotel.

This lodge exceeded our expectations! The grounds were stunning with beautiful gardens, wildlife, and trails. The bar/restaurant and in-room fridge were convenient. Plenty of activities nearby, including rafting and visits to waterfalls and national parks.
Felt at home here, nothing was too much trouble.

Located in a beautiful area with a great opportunity for birdwatching. The garden is home to various bird species, providing a wonderful sight for bird enthusiasts. Additionally, the hotel is situated along the Sarapiqui River, offering a peaceful and scenic setting for guests to enjoy. Moreover, the restaurant on-site provides a convenient option for dining, especially since there are limited alternatives in the vicinity.
The facilities are in need of renovation, and some areas appear run-down. The lack of in-room Wi-Fi is inconvenient for guests who require internet access in their rooms.

We absolutely loved our stay at this lodge! The cabins were cozy and had everything we needed, including a mosquito net. The garden surrounding the cabins was stunning, and we enjoyed walking along the trails and spotting numerous birds. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fruits, gallo pinto, and muesli. We also loved the fact that the lodge had a pool to cool down in. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The only downside was that there was no fridge in the cabin, which meant we couldn't store any perishable items. Additionally, there was no A/C, but luckily it wasn't necessary during our stay.

The riverside corner room offers privacy and a view of birds. In-room coffee maker and breakfast included. Helpful hosts arrange rides and provide information. Away from town, so relied on taxis and transfers.

The location of this lodge was absolutely breathtaking. Surrounded by nature, the peacefulness of the surroundings made for a truly relaxing stay. We were lucky enough to see monkeys and a variety of bird species right from the property. The spring-fed pool was an added bonus, providing a refreshing dip after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with high ceilings and three fans to keep us cool. And let's not forget about the amazing shower - it was so spacious, you could do a cartwheel in it!
While our room was comfortable, it did lack some decorative touches that could have added more warmth and character. Additionally, the quality of the food could have been improved.
